Terms of Service

Short, plain, and honest — like everything else here. Last updated: 2026-09-19.

1. The service

Fugio is a web application that stores household financial models you provide (accounts, schedules, budgets, debts, transactions) and computes projections, simulations and calculator results from them. It is offered during an invite-only beta; access is granted by invite at our discretion, and invites are issued in batches.

2. Not financial advice

Fugio is for individual use only. Its outputs should not be acted upon as a complete financial plan and are presented without warranty. Projections, simulations and calculator results are estimates based on your inputs — not professional financial, legal or tax advice. Consult a licensed professional for decisions that carry legal, tax or material financial consequences.

3. Your account and your data

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secret and for the accuracy of the data you enter. You retain all rights to your data; we process it only as described in the Privacy Policy. Financial history is append-only: deletions are recorded as compensating (revert) entries rather than silent removals.

4. Acceptable use

Do not probe, overload, or attempt unauthorized access to the service; do not use it to store data you have no right to store; do not resell access during the beta. Invite requests submitted through this website must be truthful; duplicate or automated submissions may be discarded.

5. Beta conditions

During the beta the service may change, pause, or reset with notice where practical. We maintain restore-tested backups and an append-only ledger, but beta software carries beta risk: report anything that looks wrong and we will fix or explain it.

6. Fees

The service is free during the invite beta. Paid plans, when introduced, will be described on a pricing page before any charge; nothing is billed today and no card is required.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fugio is provided "as is" and our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (zero, during the free beta). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law in your jurisdiction.

8. Termination

You may stop using Fugio and request erasure at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.

9. Changes and contact

Material changes to these terms will be announced in-app and dated here. Questions: legal@fugio.io.
